Adelaide: Australia vs England 2nd Ashes Test in the second day of the Ashes series at the Adelaide Oval. Despite losing opener Marcus Harris in the Day Night Test, Australia were bowled out for 221 by two wickets on the first day thanks to a half-century from David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne. Warner, who scored 95, was out, while Labushein (95) and skipper Steve Smith (18) were at the crease.

After losing Marcus Harris in the eighth over, the English pacers greeted Labushen at the crease with short pitch balls. Jose Butler was caught behind the wicket by Labuschain at the start of Ben Stokes’ delivery.

When the English bowlers were constantly throwing bouncers, Labuschain effectively escaped without falling into that trap. After evacuating from a bouncer like this, Labuschain’s self-congratulatory voice was captured by the stump mic. Labuschain told himself with a thump in his chest that Marnus had played well after leaving the bouncer, intelligently.

Jose Butler, who gave life to early Labushen after Marcus Harris flew in and surprised him, gave up an easy catch by Labuschain off Anderson’s ball at the end of the first day’s play. Buttler knocked Labushein to 95 with an individual score of 95.
