The much anticipated and biggest series of Test cricket, Ashes will start on 21st November 2025. Hosts Australia and England will meet in Perth.
The men’s Ashes for the 2025-26 season will be the West Test in Perth. Cricket Australia announced the schedule for the Ashes on Wednesday. The Ashes schedule was announced at a ceremony at Scarborough Beach in Perth.
The two teams will play in the pink ball in Brisbane. The match will be day and night. The match will be held from December 4 to 8 at Gaba. The Christmas Test will be at Adelaide Oval. The third Test will be held on December 17-21. This will be followed by the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne, December 26-30. The fifth and final Test will be held in Sydney from January 4-8 at the start of the new year.
Adelaide has regularly hosted day-night Tests since hosting the first pink-ball Test match in 2015. Adelaide also hosted pink ball Tests in the 2017–18 and 2021–22 seasons of the Ashes. But with Christmas ahead, this match will be in Brisbane.
Ashes of history and heritage are currently held by Australia. The Ashes are now under their control in 2023 with a series draw in England.
