Australia win third Ashes Test England were bowled out for 185 in the first innings and bowled out Australia for 267 in the first innings. England, who started batting in the second innings, are facing collapse. At stumps on the second day, England were 31 for four.

Batting second, England lost wickets of Haseeb Hameed (7), Zack Crowley (5), David Malan (0) and Jack Leach (0). Skipper Joe Root (12 not out) and Ben Stotox (2 not out) are at the crease. Australia’s Mitchell Starc and Scoot Boland shared two wickets each.

Earlier, Marcus Harris (76)’s half-century gave Australia a decent lead. The defeats of Marnus Labuschain (1) and Steven Smith (16) were a setback for Australia. David Warner (38), Travis Head (27), skipper Pat Cummins (21) and Mitchell Starc (24 not out) were the other leading scorers. England’s James Anderson took four wickets and Oli Robinson and Mark Wood took two wickets each.
