New Delhi: India will host the Men’s Asia Cup in T20 format in 2025, while Bangladesh will host the 50-over edition of this tournament in 2027. Pakistan and Sri Lanka jointly organized the 2023 Men’s Asia Cup in 50-over format, in which India was the winner. India has hosted the Men’s Asia Cup only once before in 1990/91, in which it became champion at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The tender document also states that both these editions of the Men’s Asia Cup (India T20, Bangladesh ODI) will have 13-13 matches. The Women’s T20 Asia Cup will be played in 2026, although information about where this tournament will be held and who will host it is not known at the moment, there will be a total of 15 matches in it. The tender document also includes the Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup, to be held in 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027 respectively, with 15 matches being played in each edition, besides the Men’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup, in 2024 and 2026 (T20), 2025 and 2027 (50 overs), also featuring 30 matches of 50 overs and T20.

The tender rights cycle also includes two editions of the Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup, with 15 matches to be played in each edition in 2025 and 2027 respectively. The Asian Cricket Council has stated in the tender document that interested parties should have a net worth of over US$10 million or have an annual turnover of over US$15 million as on March 31, 2024. The last date for submission of EOIs for sponsorship rights from 2024 to 2027 is August 2, 5pm Dubai time.
