Asia Cup Indian team announcement tomorrow; Lokesh Rahul and Deepak Chahar ready to return

Mumbai: The Indian team for the Asia Cup will be announced tomorrow. Wicket keeper Lokesh Rahul and Deepak Chahar, who has recovered from injury, may return to the team. It is reported that Rahul, who will return to the Indian team, may play in the opening.

Malayalam star Sanju Samson may not be considered. However, Deepak Hooda may also play as a part-time spinner. Ishan Kishan as backup opener and Shreyass Iyer

The competition will start on 27th of this month in UAE. Six teams will be divided into two groups. The venues are Dubai and Sharjah. India and Pakistan are in Group B of the competition. This group will also have one team that will play the qualifying round. India’s first match against Pakistan is on August 28 in Dubai.
