Asian Champions Trophy; India defeated Japan to become group champions

Dhaka: Reigning champions India defeated Japan to advance to the semi-finals of the Asian Champions Trophy Group D. India won by six wickets.

Harmanpreet Singh (10, 53), Dilpreet Singh (23), German Preet Singh (34), Sumit (46) and Shamsher Singh (54) were the top scorers for India.

India are top of the group with 10 points from four matches. India drew with Korea in the first match and went on to win three matches in a row.
