According to a press release from the Asian Tour, this establishment provides golf lessons, as well as conveying important societal values ​​for the benefit of the children of the douar Ain Hallouf which is located near the golf club “Royal Golf Dar Es Salam”, where the 1st International Series Morocco golf takes place.

“The Asian Tour is committed to supporting the communities that host its international tournaments through philanthropic initiatives; we are delighted to make this charitable contribution which underlines our commitment to promoting the culture of golf among the younger generations. By supporting this school, we are also supporting the development of this culture in Morocco, which is a country with incredible golfing potential,” said Rahul Singh, Director of the International Series, as quoted in the press release.

For his part, Abdelkader El Hali, general director of the rural golf school of Ain Hallouf, noted that “contribution will benefit many young people in the region, by making them responsible for this sport and by making them aware of the positive values ​​of golf, while developing their strength of character and their self-confidence.”

The Douar Ain Hallouf region has always had very close ties with golf. Many of the douar’s inhabitants have worked on the Royal Dar Es Salam course throughout the 50 years since its creation in 1971. The inhabitants have even built a course for their community, right in the middle of the surrounding forest.

The rural golf school in Ain Hallouf has helped many players develop their game. In fact, many Moroccan professionals come from the region.

The Asian Tour’s philanthropic efforts are felt in each of the International Series destinations, with significant donations being made to support local communities in Thailand, England, Singapore and South Korea.

The 1st edition of the International Series Maroc golf is organized from November 3 to 6 at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, with the participation of big names in this sporting discipline on a national and international scale.

With the International Series Morocco, this is the first time that an Asian Tour event has taken place in North Africa.

Organised by the Asian Tour, the International Series was launched with a view to strengthening and developing golf in Asia and the Middle East.
