Among the companies and mutual funds that participated in trading on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main capital market of the country, the share price of Asiatic Laboratories Ltd., listed in the pharmaceutical and chemical sector, rose the most.
The company’s shares topped DSE’s weekly gainer chart on strong investor interest. This information was revealed on the basis of DSE’s weekly market review on Saturday (April 20).
According to the data, the share price of Asiatic Laboratories increased by 18.14 percent in the outgoing week. The closing price of the company’s shares was Rs 43 in the previous week. And at the end of the farewell week, the closing price of the company stood at Tk 50.80. With this, the company’s shares have risen to the top of DSE’s weekly gainer list.
Among the other top gainers on DSE were Deshbandhu Polymers 17.91 percent, SEML Lecture Equity Mutual Fund 17.57 percent, Golden Jubilee Mutual Fund 15 percent, Paramount Textiles 14.34 percent, Salvo Chemicals 14.07 percent, Fu-Wang Food gained 13.95 percent, Prime Finance First Mutual Fund gained 13.37 percent, Lavello Ice Cream gained 12.25 percent and BD Thai Food gained 11.67 percent.
