Islamabad: Pakistan Army ChiefAsim Munir emphasized the importance of respecting ⁤both Sharia‍ law and ⁤the Constitution. He stated that those who deviate from these principles are not considered true Pakistanis. Speaking at the National Ulema Conference, he highlighted the‌ Army’s efforts ⁢to ​maintain peace and urged everyone to adhere to the ⁤law. He also called for ‌greater societal brotherhood.

According ⁣to ⁢a Tribune‍ report,‍ the Pak ⁣Army Chief criticized the Western lifestyle and civilization, arguing that it⁢ does⁢ not align with Pakistani values. He emphasized the uniqueness ‍of Islamic civilization and⁤ urged adherence to the Prophet’s guidance. He also acknowledged the sacrifices of the Pakhtun​ and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa people in the fight against terrorism.

The statement also addressed the issue of Afghan refugees: ⁤ Munir acknowledged Pakistan’s long-standing⁣ support⁤ for Afghan refugees, urging them not to oppose their ⁣neighbors out of fear or prejudice.⁣ He ⁤hinted at a firm response to any attempt to create chaos in the country.

The Army Chief also touched ⁣upon the ongoing conflict in Kashmir, stating that its resolution lies in the joint efforts of India and Pakistan.
