jpnn.com – Asnawi Mangkualam returned to Indonesia with his club, Port FC to challenge Persib Bandung in the first match of the Asia Champions League 2 or Liga Champions Asia 2.
The Indonesian National Team full back arrived in Bandung City on Tuesday (17/9/2024) afternoon WIB.
Port FC is scheduled to meet Persib at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Soreang, Bandung Regency, Thursday (19/9/2024).
Asnawi Mangkualam, one of the Port FC players, admitted that he was enthusiastic about welcoming the match against Persib.
“I am happy to return to my country (Indonesia, ed). I think the match at the stadium (Si Jalak Harupat, ed) will have a good atmosphere,” said Asnawi via Port FC’s social media.
Furthermore, the former PSM Makassar player is determined to present three points for Port FC.
“I like playing against teams from Indonesia. We have to win, we have to try to steal points,” he continued.
Port FC itself came to Bandung with an impressive performance in domestic competition. The club from Thailand is unbeaten in the first six matches of the 2024/25 Thai League season.
