jpnn.comKENDARI – Competition in the preparation of the Southeast Sulawesi gubernatorial election is increasing. In the latest news, the results of the Golkar party’s internal survey have brought up the name Andi Sumangerukka (ASR) as the gubernatorial candidate for Southeast Sulawesi with the highest electability compared to other candidates.

Secretary of the Golkar Party DPD for Southeast Sulawesi, M Basri, said that an internal survey conducted by his party placed Andi Sumangerukka (ASR) as the strongest candidate in the 2024 Southeast Sulawesi gubernatorial election.

“For the temporary survey, Mr. ASR is the highest, followed by Ridwan Bae, Tina Nur Alam, and Ruksamin,” said Basri in his statement, Wednesday (17/7).

Basri, Golkar’s internal party will conduct a further internal survey to determine the eligibility and readiness of the figures who receive recommendations.

He said that Golkar’s internal parties conducted surveys with several institutions to obtain optimal results.

”To be neutral, we will replace Saiful Mujani’s survey which is currently still conducting a survey. The results will be at the end of July along with the determination of the Sultra Gubernatorial Candidate from the Golkar Party,” he said.

Asked about the dowry related to the nomination of candidates in this Pilkada, M. Basri provided further information that in this party with the banyan tree symbol there is no such thing as a dowry, only that as a gubernatorial candidate one must prepare physically and mentally.

”That’s all, prepare mentally and physically, that’s the main thing. Because we also know that it is impossible for candidates to advance without their main preparation financially,” he said.
