jpnn.com – JAKARTA – The battle in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election will be fierce if Anies Baswedan is supported by the PDI Perjuangan, facing off against Ridwan Kamil (RK) who is supported by the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM).
Andalas University Padang Political Observer Asrinaldi assessed that Anies and RK are both equally strong.
“This will certainly be a tough fight because it has a strong background,” said Asrinaldi when contacted in Jakarta, Monday (26/8).
According to Asrinaldi, the Ridwan Kamil and Suswono pair have strong capital to win the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election.
First, Ridwan Kamil has a strong political machine because he is supported by KIM, which is currently a big coalition.
Thus, grassroots party cadres and volunteers affiliated with KIM will work together to win the Ridwan Kamil and Suswono pair in Jakarta.
In addition, the man who is familiarly called RK is also considered to have a good track record during his time as Mayor of Bandung and Governor of West Java.
This is the impression that RK will emphasize so that it can be well received by the people of Jakarta.
Asrinaldi assessed that Anies Baswedan and Ridwan Kamil alias RK are both strong, so the fight in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election will be fierce.
