Guwahati In Assam’s Noonmati, a woman killed her husband and mother-in-law, chopped up their bodies and kept them in a fridge. The police arrested a young woman named Vandana Kalita.
It is reported that the questioning of Vandana’s extramarital affair led to the murder. After killing both of them, the bodies were cut into pieces and then the body parts were kept inside the fridge.
Three days later, Vandana Kalita and her boyfriend took the body parts to Cherrapunji in Meghalaya, 150 km from Guwahati. The police said that both of them threw the body parts there.
After two incidents of a lover’s live-in partner being chopped up and kept in a fridge came to light in Delhi, an incident of a young woman’s husband and mother-in-law being chopped up and kept in a fridge was reported in Assam.
