by time news

Ubisoft has introduced the next game in the Assassin’s Creed series to be called Mirage, set in ninth-century Baghdad, which will also bring back the classic gameplay of older titles.

In the video published by the company as part of the Ubisoft Forward event, the hero of the game, Basim, is shown about 20 years before the events of Valhalla. The game follows Bassim’s life as he transforms from a simple thief to a supreme assassin and offers the classic setting of the crowded city, plenty of parkour and more surprising assassinations than ever.

“Experience the story of Bassim, a cunning street thief with nightmarish visions, searching for answers and justice as he navigates the bustling streets of ninth-century Baghdad. Through a mysterious and ancient organization known as the Hidden Ones, he will become a deadly master assassin.”, That’s what the message says.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will arrive sometime next year for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X consoles, with a complete expansion pack and a collector’s edition with a bass statue. For those interested, it is already offered at a price of 49.99 euros (about NIS 170) and Ubisoft Plus subscribers will receive it from day one for free.
