Rumors have been swirling about the next major game in the Assassin’s Creed saga over the past few days, with some so-called “insiders” taking to Reddit andTwitterIt is claimed that it will have a setting based on the era of the Aztec Empire and the Spanish Empire’s conquest of the United States in the 16th century.
But it seems, once again, that information has been proven wrong, or at least that’s what Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier said, who claimed that the title of the next game in the series will be Assassin, and its story will take place in Iraq’s current on the streets of the capital Baghdad. On the map, it is quite far from the ancient Aztec Dominion of Mesoamerica.
