Assault on Jordanian remarks: “Severe and unacceptable”

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Gideon Saar, recently (Monday) joined the storm of condemnation and mutual accusations between senior Israeli and Jordanian officials regarding the recent events on the Temple Mount.

“The statements made by senior officials in the Kingdom of Jordan are serious and unacceptable.” Saar opened his remarks and added, “It is the sovereignty of Israel in Jerusalem as its capital that guarantees freedom of worship to members of all religions in the city.”

“The attempts of extremist and terrorist elements, such as Hamas, to ignite the territory through a false anti-Israel campaign are transparent and should be condemned and condemned.” The Minister of Justice wrote on his Twitter account.
