Time.news – The great-grandson of French Premier Dame Brigitte Macron was beaten in what is believed to be a politically motivated attack against the policies of the head of the Elysée.
He 30enne Jean-Baptiste Trogneux, manager of the family chocolate shop in Amiens, he was surrounded last night by some anti-government activists who attacked him, hitting him in the head, arms and legs amid insults against “the president, his wife and family”, said the young man’s father.

“I totally sympathize with my family and in constant contact, since 11pm yesterday, with Jean-Baptiste (my great-nephew, victim of the attack) and Jean-Alexandre (my nephew, father of the victim),” Brigitte said in a statement. ” I have repeatedly denounced this violence which can only lead to the worst,” added President Macron’s wife.
