Assembly AIADMK issue: OPS followed by EPS letter! | EPS wrote a letter after OPS regarding the matter of the Legislative Assembly

by time news

ADMK, which is the main opposition party in Tamil Nadu, is becoming more and more infighting day by day. In this situation, the General Secretary has written a letter to the OPS Speaker Appa pointing out the decision given by the Supreme Court on the interim ban on conducting the election.

In that letter, OPS has mentioned that since he is the coordinator of ADMK, he should be consulted on any party-related decision in the Assembly events. The Election Commission had sent a letter to the OPS Speaker last July asking him to reject the petitions on behalf of the ADMK regarding the transfer of legislative committees as the case related to the issue of single leadership is pending in the Supreme Court.

In this situation, the EPS side sent a letter to the Speaker asking O. Panneerselvam to be removed from the post of Deputy Leader of the Opposition and former Minister RB Udayakumar should be appointed to that post. While Speaker Appavu said that the letters from both sides are under consideration, a second letter has been given from O. Panneerselvam’s side. As the Legislative Assembly session begins on the 17th, there is anticipation as to what decision the Speaker is going to take.

In this situation, it has been reported that EPS has written a letter to the Legislative Assembly Secretary asking that RB Udayakumar be allowed in the review committee on the basis of being the Deputy Leader of the Opposition after OPS.
