The State Human Rights Commission also initiated an investigation and ordered a report. 5 victims provided their statements to the investigative unit of the Human Rights Commission and claimed that other police officers also behaved harshly. Some victims were even threatened by the police to not file a complaint. Balveersingh is required to appear before the Human Rights Commission today to explain these allegations. Meanwhile, an ongoing investigation is being conducted by Sub-Collector Mohammad Sabir Alam in Cheranmagadevi. The Superintendent of Police transferred two special constables to the armed forces. Various organizations have called for action against all responsible inspectors and policemen involved.

Meanwhile, the investigation led by Sub-Collector Mohammad Sabir Alam is ongoing in Cheranmagadevi. While 13 victims have been interrogated so far, 3 have given statements in support of the police.

Meanwhile, the Superintendent of Police has ordered VKpuram Police Station Special Constable Bhoka Bhuman and Kallidaikurichi Police Station Special Constable Rajkumar to be transferred to the armed forces. In this incident, while the people under the jurisdiction of Kallidaikurichi and Ambai police station were affected, instead of the Ambai SP, the VKpuram SP has been transferred to the armed forces, raising suspicions.

Various organizations have been saying that action should be taken against everyone including inspectors and policemen from duty when these incidents took place. It is also said that further action orders may be issued due to this.
