Assistant Superintendent of Police Balveer Singh is under investigation in Ambai Police Sargam of Nellai District after complaints emerged accusing him of brutally assaulting suspects during investigations. A complaint has been filed in the Nellai District Collector’s office, prompting Collector Karthikeyan to order a judicial inquiry. Cheranmahadevi Sub-Collector Muhammad Sabir Alam has been appointed as the investigating officer, tasked with verifying the information on social media. The victims, police officers, and other parties involved will be investigated and instructed to file a report. 30 people involved in criminal activity have allegedly lost their teeth in five police stations, including Ambai, Kallidaikurichi, VKpuram, Pappakkudi, and Ambai Women’s Police. Sub-Collector Muhammad Sabir Alam will begin his investigation today, starting with the victims, followed by a police inquiry and a report from Assistant Superintendent of Police Balveer Singh. Protests are expected from social activists and various organizations.

Recently, some have complained that he takes criminals in the name of investigation, pulls their teeth and commits brutal acts. Information was also being spread on social media that he pulled out his teeth and caused injuries.
A complaint has also been filed in the Nellai District Collector’s office regarding this incident. In this case, Collector Karthikeyan has issued an order to conduct a judicial inquiry regarding this incident.
He has appointed Cheranmahadevi Sub-Collector Muhammad Sabir Alam as the investigating officer. It has been decided to investigate the veracity of the information spread on social media.
The District Collector informed that the investigation will be conducted on the basis of the complaint filed in the District Collector’s office and all the parties involved in the incident such as the officers and the victims have been instructed to conduct a proper investigation and file a report.
Social activists and various organizations had planned to hold various protests regarding this incident. For this, 2 days ago, the victims were gathered together and some asked for explanations. In this case, District Collector Karthikeyan has ordered a judicial inquiry.
It is said that up to 30 people involved in criminal activities have lost their teeth in 5 police stations including Ambai, Kallidaikurichi, VKpuram, Pappakkudi, Ambai Women’s Police, which are still included in Ambai Saragam.
Sub-Collector Mohammad Sabir Alam is going to start his investigation in this regard from today. First he interrogates the victims.
After that, after conducting an inquiry with the police, there are reports that they are planning to inquire with the Assistant Superintendent of Police.
