Washington: NASA has issued a major warning about an asteroid that is constantly moving towards Earth. This asteroid is 150 feet wide, named 2024 NS1. Its speed of coming towards the Earth is 27,274 km per hour. It is almost the size of an airplane. It will reach closest to Earth on August 2. Asteroid 2024 NS1 is classified as an Apollo asteroid, which is part of a group of near-Earth objects (NEOs) whose orbits cross the Earth’s path. Even though NEOs do not come close to Earth, some of them come to a very scary distance, which can be dangerous. It has not been identified as a potentially dangerous asteroid due to its size. However, it is constantly monitoring it to ensure that it is not dangerous. At present, there is no change in its trajectory. 2024 NS1 is not a dangerous asteroid and it will come to a distance of 20 lakh km.
