Sun Devil Athletics Celebrates 29 Graduating Student-Athletes in Fall 2025 Commencement

Arizona State University recently celebrated the academic achievements of 29 Sun Devil student-athletes as fall 2025 commencement festivities concluded. The graduating class represents a diverse range of sports and academic disciplines,highlighting the commitment to excellence both on and off the field for ASU Athletics.
Academic Honors Abound
A total of 13 student-athletes earned a GPA between 3.80 and 4.00. One student graduated magna cum laude (3.60 to 3.79 GPA), and four earned cum laude honors (3.40 to 3.59 GPA). The volleyball program was notably distinguished, with all four of its graduating members achieving summa cum laude recognition. Similarly,three of the four soccer graduates also earned this highest academic distinction.
Former Athletes Complete Degrees
The graduating class also included three former Sun Devil athletes who completed their degree requirements this fall. Among them is Leon Marchand, a national champion swimmer, demonstrating a continued dedication to education even after achieving athletic success. Football players Darryl Harris and Dohnovan West also finalized their academic journeys.
Leadership Advancement Thru Tip of the Fork
Two football players, CJ Fite and Adama Fall, are graduates of the esteemed Tip of the Fork Program in fall 2025. This program is designed to cultivate transformative leaders within the Sun Devil community by providing high-performing student-athletes with unique experiences and educational opportunities. According to program materials, the initiative aims to help athletes “redefine their standard of excellence.”
