ASUS has announced the monitor TUF Gaming VG34VQL3A, a new model with a wide panel with 86.4 cm (34 in) diagonal. It is of the VA type, which lately is quite atypical to see them. It has a curvature index of 1500 R. Its resolution is 3440 × 1440 pixels (UWQHD) with a refresh rate of 180 Hz and a response time of 1 ms, or 1 ms of MPRT.
It has good 10-bit color quality (8+FRC), and covers 125% of the sRGB scale. It reaches a maximum brightness of 400 nits, also when playing HDR content – it has a DisplayHDR 400 certificate -, with a 4000:1 static contrast, more than usual, which is usually 3000:1 in these panels. It has Adaptive-Sync adaptive refresh compatible with FreeSync Premium Pro.
The monitor stand allows for height, tilt, and some panel swivel adjustment, but can be removed to accommodate a 100mm × 100mm VESA mount. It has two HDMI 2.0, two DisplayPort 1.4 and a three USB 3.1 hub. There are 2 W stereo speakers.
