Hilary Swank was a guest this morning (Wednesday) on the program “Good Morning America”, and surprised the hosts, the audience and the viewers at home with the amazing news: she is pregnant. The 48-year-old Swank excitedly talked about the pregnancy, and even revealed that she is not expecting just one baby, but is carrying twins in her womb.

“I am happy to share this with you, and with America,” she said in the program. “Something I’ve wanted for a long time. My next thing is – I’m going to be a mother!” The actress told in a loud voice to the applause of all present in the hall.

Then, after a dramatic pause, she went on to reveal the even more exciting part, adding that she’s expecting “not just one, but two!”

This is the first pregnancy of Swank, who has been married since 2018 to entrepreneur Philip Schneider, whom she married after two years of relationship. This is the second marriage for the actress, who was married for a decade to actor Chad Lowe, but they divorced in 2007.

Hilary Swank is known to many as the determined boxer from the movie “Million Dollar Baby”, which was a blockbuster and drew rave reviews, and was even the movie that brought her the coveted Oscar as best actress.
