With a streak of six league losses and a shocking start to the season, Leicester City needed the spark that would wake up their season and maybe they got it tonight (Sunday), when they ran over Nottingham Forest 0:4 and recorded their first victory of the season in the eighth round.

Brandon Rodgers’ side will hope to continue their recovery when they host Bournemouth in the next round, another newcomer. Forrest, for their part, dropped to last place in the table and will return home to prepare for Aston Villa.

In the 25th minute, the performance of Lester and James Madison began. He scored the first, two minutes later Harvey Barnes doubled and in the 35th minute Madison completed a double with a spectacular free ball that sent the teams to the break with 0:3 blue.

In the second half Madison also added an assist, when Patson Daka said thank you and with a magical touch with his heel sent the ball into Dean Henderson’s net. It was a complete release of nerves for the foxes and in the end a first victory – 0:4 at home.
