at her own pace

There is no doubt that the wives of our footballers have very extensive and interesting careers (sometimes even more than the spouse himself…) just like in the next case! For those who don’t know or have forgotten, Nicole Schleifer is the partner of Bnei Sakhnin actor Guy Melamed, she is a dancer by profession, dancing from a young age and in her free time she even teaches beginning dancers in a chat. Now she took the matter one step further and participated in a music video for a Latin singer, in which she both danced and acted, and to the Glitch section she told everything you wanted to know, including behind-the-scenes photos.

“Gato, the singer I participated in his music video, came from Venezuela ten years ago,” she told us Nicole. “He was a singer at the beginning in the field of bachata, but he quickly conquered the dance floors and within six months he released five singles, another one is on the way, and he is also producing an album. The manager of the Havana Club (Israel Franco) took Gato under his wing and he manages him and helps him promote the songs. I dance at the Havana Club and also instruct there, so we decided to do the entire production locally together with the club’s staff, and the dancers who schedule the club for whom it is home, and for me as well. The connection I had with Gato and the participants in the clip is amazing, beyond the fact that it’s fun to dance, it feels like doing things together like a family, and helping the success of friends.’

“It was important to me in the music video to present that I am also an actress in addition to being a dancer and a model.” Nicole continues to tell us. “When Gato offered me to participate in his music video, I conveyed the message that I wanted to participate in the plot and not just dance. Gato who is responsible for everything you see in the music video (direction, editing, writing and music, performance…) responded positively, and the production was amazing, flowing and light. It is important for me to point out Guy’s support for the idea, and that everyone on the set knows Guy. When Gatto told me that I was the ex he was singing about, and in the script I was supposed to play another man who had moved on in my life, Gatto was focused and said that of course there would be no kissing/touching that disrespects a partner. I liked the directness and agreed to be photographed. I love acting and taking pictures, as long as it’s without memorizing… and I’m flourishing. I’m already waiting for the next shooting day!’
So what do you think of the music video?
