At home they will say that I have the nature of a male, Mother will say that I was born as a female when Brahma closed his eyes: Anushree

Anushree is an actress who shined through rural roles. The actor started his career with the movie Diamond Necklace directed by Lal Jose. Binu Sadananthan’s epic is a film that the actor did differently from the characters he usually does.

The actor is telling the stories of acting in the film. Anushree is speaking in an interview to Behindwoods.

‘When I think of the epic, the first thing that comes to my mind is the fight scenes. At that time I was not looking at any body fitness. So I had to face some difficulties. The first fight in my film career will be in Epic.

But still the body is not looked at that much. When I eat all the rice and put on some weight, I go to the gym. But I suffered a lot during the epic. After the shoot, I have to be carried to the car. That was the situation.

But I was very happy when I saw it on screen. I played the opposite character of the girl. Balu and Shine told about smoking cigarettes. I knew how to dress. I used to wear mundi at home earlier too.

Everyone at home tells me that I have the characteristics of a man. My mother says that I was born as a girl when Brahma closed his eyes during childbirth. When I walk, I walk by jumping. Then at home it will be said that you have become a girl.

Lal Jose sir used to ask why you are walking like a horse. Then I used to walk slowly,’ said Anushree.

The actor gave a great performance in the epic. Later he did many different roles. Anushree’s last film is 12th Man, directed by Jeethu Joseph and starring Mohanlal as the lead.
