(ANSA) – VERONA, OCTOBER 14 – The tenth edition of Hostaria Verona closed with over 25 thousand attendees. Over the three days of the event, the Verona Wine Festival involved almost 400 wine references, who crowded the squares and streets of the historic center “redesigned” for the occasion with wine & food stands, themed spaces, stages and selfie corners.
The tasting kit and the tokens distributed gave the right to wine and gastronomy tastings, in the name of Made in Italy specialties, for a total of 300 thousand tastings.
The numbers confirm the success of the event, born and grown together with people in the name of inclusion. Starting from the wooden furnishings of the Loggia Social and the main stages which, this year, were created by the inmates of the Montorio prison through the “Reverse” brand.
Closing the Festival last night was the Charity Cocktail Dinner for the Italian Progeria Sammy Basso Aps Onlus Association.
Sammy was supposed to be the guest of honor on the last night.
The entire Hostaria organizational machine wanted to honor and remember him, carrying forward the event conceived together with the researcher and biologist from Vicenza before his death.
Significant is the presence of the “Sammy Boys”, lifelong friends, and of Franz Costa, anatomy teacher, Sammy’s confidante and his sidekick in creating dissemination and fundraising events and projects. (HANDLE).
