At La Nouvelle Forge, in the Oise, board games as a remedy for autistic disorders

To the New Forge of Pont-Sainte-Maxence (Oise), an establishment which accompanies a dozen young people with pervasive developmental disorders, including autism, board games are used to stimulate the capacities children “in a playful and non-judgmental way”. Since October, Yoann, a specialist educator at the center and Caroline, a psychologist, have launched a group project called: Executive functions.
