At least 11 people have died and 14 have been injured this Thursday in an armed attack against civilians who were returning from an election rally in the town of Balad Ruz, in the Diyala governorate, in eastern Iraq.
Police sources consulted by the Iraqi news portal Shafaq have explained that unidentified people They exploded two devices and they shot against a vehicle that transported civilians. The attack, which is under investigation, targeted relatives of a deputy, Salá Zaini al Tamimi.
