A nine-story building has been partially destroyed, five other residential buildings have been leveled and many more have been damaged in 12 Russian missile strikes, said Oleksandr Starukh, governor of the Zaporizhia region. “There may be more people under the rubble. A rescue operation is underway at the scene. Eight people have already been rescued,” Starukh said on the Telegram instant messaging app. The attack comes a day after the partial destruction of the strategic Crimean bridge.
