At least four people were killed in Russian strikes on Ukraine last night, DPA reported, citing Ukrainian authorities.
Two people were killed and five were injured in the Kryvyi Rih region (Central Ukraine) in an “impact”, the Ukrainian emergency services said in the communication application “Telegram”.
“At midnight, a rocket hit a hotel and partially destroyed a four-story building,” the services said.
Two people were also killed in drone strikes in the Zaporozhye region, the authorities there said, BTA reports.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russian military again used strategic bombers that fired cruise missiles. Kinzhal hypersonic missiles were also launched.
In total, ten missiles and 81 drones were used in last night’s attack, of which Ukrainian air defenses shot down five missiles and about 60 unmanned aerial vehicles, the Air Force added, quoted by Reuters.
The main target of the strikes was once again Ukrainian energy, analysts note.
Yesterday, Ukraine was subjected by Russia to massive strikes with missiles and drones, which were directed against Ukrainian energy infrastructure. Four people were killed in yesterday’s strikes, and the Ukrainian authorities were forced to impose a power cut, France Press recalls.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said Russian forces launched a “massive strike” on Ukrainian military airfields and energy facilities.
The German Foreign Ministry has accused Russia of trying to destroy Ukraine’s power grid.
