The Super Bowl parade in mourning. At least 21 people were shot and injured and one died Wednesday in shootings during festivities in Kansas City celebrating Sunday’s Chiefs victory, authorities said during a press briefing at 5:30 p.m. (12:30 a.m. in Paris). According to firefighters, 8 victims are in critical condition, 7 in serious condition, and 6 are lightly injured. In total, three men were arrested and several weapons were found. The motive was not immediately known.

A suspect tackled by two fans
According to authorities, three people were arrested and the area around Union Station was evacuated, as tens of thousands of fans gathered to celebrate the gang’s victory over Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
A video shows two fans chasing and then immobilizing a man who could be one of the suspects before police officers take over. “A gun fell out when we tackled him,” said one of the Kansas City supporters, while a semi-automatic rifle is visible in another photo shared on X.
