At least six people have been arrested for their alleged connection to the murder of the presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio. The operations are carried out by the National Police in coordination with the State Attorney General’s Office.

According to preliminary information, the authorities have advanced raids in the Conocoto and San Bartolo sectorsin Quito, in a flagrant procedure.
