Against the background of the agreement between Ayelet Shaked and the Jewish Home party, in the last few hours (Monday) the Likud is once again examining the influence of Sharyon Ayelet Shaked or Yossi Brodani on the Likud list. The purpose of the shields is to prevent losing votes to the right-wing bloc.
Shaked instead of Silman?
Likud officials told the Srougims that Shaked is very interested in an armor on the Likud list, which will probably be at the expense of the place reserved for Idit Silman.
However, Likud is reluctant to retain Shaked, this is because internal polls show that she reduces Likud’s mandate by up to two of Likud voters who are angry with her following the sitting in the last government.

Those two mandates that will leave in the case of Ayelet Shaked’s armor will go to Ben Gabir-Smotrich, so that in fact her armor may strengthen the right-wing bloc even at the cost of harming Likud, so this possibility is still being examined.
The second option that the Likud is examining and discussing with the Jewish Home party is a joint running of the Jewish Home with the Likud party. In that case, Yossi Brodani will be ranked 28th on the list, when the demand of the Jewish Home is to come with another candidate from the list who will be ranked 37th.
According to the internal polls being examined in Likud, a joint run with Brodney and the Jewish Home may return about 3 mandates of national religious people who are currently in the “state camp” party.
