At the opening of the COP28 Leaders’ Summit, Lula demands fulfillment of promises by countries

Presidents and heads of government from 140 countries will participate this Friday (1st) and Saturday (2nd) in the Global Climate Action Summit of the 28th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP28), in Dubai, which gives the initial impetus to almost two weeks of negotiations on the topic. At the opening of the event, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva associated the fight against climate change with that of inequalities and criticized countries that do not fulfill their promises in the environmental area and international climate agreements.
