The vibrations of a bagpipe resonate in the middle of a farm. A man in a kilt plays the Scottish anthem, “Flower of Scotland”. With a little imagination, closing your eyes, it’s like being at the legendary Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh, a few minutes before the kick-off of a rugby match. We are however in the heart of Sologne, in Pierrefitte-sur-Sauldre (Loir-et-Cher). It is in this peaceful town of 800 souls that Guillaume Peltier, member of the executive board of Reconquête!, has chosen to organize, this Saturday, June 24, the great rally of the militants of the party of Éric Zemmour. Ten years earlier, during the first edition of the Violet Festival, in 2013, it brought together activists from… the UMP!
It was another era. The future vice-president of the Republicans – from 2019 to 2021…
