The young French and Irish will meet on Friday for the world title.

France qualified for the final of the U20 Rugby World Cup by easily winning 52-31 against England in the semi-finals on Sunday in Cape Town (South Africa). Double title holders (in 2018 and 2019, before the competition ceased due to the Covid, editor’s note), the Bleuets, who knew how to react after being led 17-0, will face Ireland in the final on Friday in Cape Town, which defeated South Africa in the other semi-final (31-12).

The final will take place at 7 p.m., French time, and will be followed live with commentary on our Figaro site. But also on the L’Equipe channel.

Results of the semi-finals:

Sunday July 9

Ireland – South Africa 31-12

France – England 52-31

Finale

Friday, July 14 (7:00 p.m.)
