Retired athlete Padmini Thomas joined Rahul Gandhi in the ‘Bharat Jodo’ walk organized by the Congress.
Congress is conducting ‘Bharat Jodo’ walk to mobilize people against the ruling BJP at the centre. The party MP Rahul Gandhi is leading the walk and meeting people at the places he goes. The walk, which was completed in Tamil Nadu, is currently underway in Kerala.
Former athlete Padmini Thomas joined Rahul Gandhi during a walk in Kerala on Monday. Padmini Thomas won a silver medal in the relay race and a bronze medal in the 400 meter race at the 1982 Asian Games held in Delhi. He has also served as the President of Kerala State Sports Council.
Environmentalist Sridhar Radhakrishnan joined Rahul Gandhi’s walk on Sunday.
