Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin felicitated the winners of the Commonwealth Games by giving prize money at the Chief Secretariat. Accordingly, Pranav Venkatesh, who was selected as India’s 75th Grand Master, will receive a check of Rs 5 lakh, Bhavani Devi, who won a gold and bronze medal in the Commonwealth Fencing Championship held in London, will receive a check of Rs 35 lakh, and Saurav Ghoshal, who won two bronze medals in the men’s squash event, will receive a check of Rs 40 lakh, and Squash Mixed. Doubles bronze medalist Deepika Pallikal was also presented with a check of Rs 20 lakh.

Similarly, Sarath Kamal, who won 4 medals including 3 gold and 1 silver medal in table tennis men’s event held in England, was awarded a check of Rs. . 5 coaches of these athletes were given a check of Rs 51 lakhs.
