Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure has closed the first half of the year with revenues of 554.6 million dollars (505.3 million euros), which represents an increase of 1.4% year-on-year in comparable terms, the company reported.

During the second quarter of the year, Atlantica has continued with the construction of various assets, among which the 100 megawatt hour (MWh) battery project in California stands out with an estimated investment of between 40 and 50 million dollars (between 36.4 and 45.6 million euros).

In addition, in July Atlantica received authorization to begin construction of its ATS Expansion 1 project, an expansion of the ATS transmission line that is expected to be operational in 2025.

The investment estimated is 30 million dollars (about 27.3 million euros). This project joins ATN Expansion 3, expansion of another line that is currently under construction.

Likewise, the company has reinforced its portfolio of projects under development, which reaches 2 gigawatts (GW) of renewable energy and 5.9 GWh of storage. 25% of the portfolio is in an advanced stage of development and 15% is expected to be ready to build between 2023 and 2024.
