Atlético and Juve, with the wet gunpowder
Good first half between both teams although there is still a lack of precision in front of goal.
The Atleti came out somewhat worse, physically overpowered by Juve, but little by little they have found their footing in the match. The Atleti had the clearest chances. Llorente missed a one-on-one and Griezmann hit the post, denying the first goal of the match. They pressed high and that paid off, causing inaccuracies in Juve’s build-up and creating clear goal-scoring opportunities. Defensively, they have been very solid, unsettling Juve’s forwards when they approached the area.
Juve is also having a great game. They are causing damage with counterattacks and long balls. They have entered the area several times, but have not been able to threaten Atleti. Vlahovic has been the one trying the most, but all his shots have gone wide.
We leave with a scoreless result on the board but with good feelings between both teams.
