Racing’s elections are scheduled for December 15 and Diego Milito is the main candidate for the job.
The former player leads a list made up of two other candidates: Hernán Lacunza, former Minister of Economy during the national administration of Mauricio Macri (former president of Argentina), and Martín Ferré, disciple of Daniel Scioli, deputy of the Party Law and Justice.
The current president, Víctor Blanco, has announced that he will be stepping down at the end of the current season and will not be running for re-election.
