ATP 500 in Rotterdam, Jannik Sinner on the field today

Jannik Sinner makes his debut today at the ATP 500 tournament in Rotterdam, a fast indoor one, with a prize pool of 2,290,720 euros. Just over two weeks after his triumph at the Australian Open, the South Tyrolean, number 4 in the world ranking, returns to the field facing the Dutch Botic Van de Zandschulp, number 66 in the ATP ranking and already beaten last January 14th, in the first match played in Melbourne. For the blue, it will be an important tournament because in case of final success he would rise to no. 3 in the world ranking, overtaking the Russian Daniil Medvedev. The match between Sinner and Van de Zandschulp is scheduled for 7.30pm on the central court of the Rotterdam Ahoy.
