Atp Lyon, Sinner wins the battle with Karatsev – Sport

LYON. Jannik Sinner overcomes the first round of the ATP 250 in Lyon by overcoming the Russian Aslan Karatsev in three sets, with a score of 0-6, 6-3, 6-4.

After an uphill start, Riccardo Piatti’s pupil recovered in the second set, then snatching his opponent’s serve in the last and decisive fraction on a score of 4-4, to launch himself towards success.

In the second round – round of 16 – the South Tyrolean will face the Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech.
