ATP Rankings, Sinner Firmly in Command. Seven Italians in the Top 50 – Sport

ROMA. Very little news in the new world tennis rankings, published today (16 September) by the ATP, at the end of a week dedicated almost exclusively to the Davis Cup. Jannik Sinner is world number 1 for the 15th time in a row. The first Italian ever to win two Grand Slam singles titles in a single season, the Australian Open and the US Open, and the first player ever since Guillermo Vilas (1977) to win his first two career Majors in the same season, confirms his clear lead in the ATP ranking.

As for the other Italians, there are six, in addition to the champion from Sesto Pusteria, in the top 50. These are: Lorenzo Musetti, Flavio Cobolli, Matteo Arnaldi, Luciano Darderi, Matteo Berrettini and Lorenzo Sonegoall stable.
