BOLZANO. Episode of violence on the night between Saturday and Sunday at the Life nightclub in via Marie Curie in Bolzano. The Police Flying Squad was sent to the scene following an incident 112 call for an assault to the detriment of a customer of the restaurant.
In the external car park belonging to the disco, the officers found a 21-year-old boy who was pointing to a friend of his, a 23-year-old Italian, who was lying on the ground and complaining of severe pain in his right leg and the left side of his chest, so much so that he requested the ambulance intervention.
When asked by the police, the injured young man explained that he had had an argument with another boy inside the nightclub, which is located on the 5th floor of the building, after which he was grabbed bodily by some security personnel, and then forcefully enter the elevator. Here, while they made him go down to the ground floor to “expel” him from the room, they hit him with kicks and punches.
The victim of the attack – in the meantime rescued by 118 paramedics and then taken to hospital – said he was able to recognize at least one of the bouncers.
They are still ongoing investigations by the Flying Squad per reconstruct the dynamics of the facts in detail.
Since it was ascertained that on the same night there were multiple episodes of arguments and attacks that occurred inside the venue, the Bolzano Police Chief Paolo Sartori has given instructions to the Administrative Police Division of the Police Headquarters to ascertain the possible presence of critical issues to possibly adopt a measure to close the premises based on the provisions of article 100 of the TULPS and Personal Prevention Measures towards the subjects involved. “People who find themselves frequenting public places in various capacities must be able to do so in peace and safety – underlined the commissioner – without having their safety put at risk due to violent and reckless behavior on the part of anyone”.
