Thiruvananthapuram: The state government has moved to withdraw the BJP state committee office attack case. The government has filed an application in the Thiruvananthapuram Chief Judicial Magistrate’s Court. The court accepted the application file and summoned the first witness in the case.

However, the BJP filed an interdict against it. The case will be heard by the court on January 1. The BJP state committee office was attacked on July 28, 2017. The BJP office was attacked within hours of the attack on Bineesh Kodiyeri’s house.

Former Corporation Councilor and Palayam Area Committee Secretary I.P. Binu, former SFI district secretary Prijil Saj Krishna, Jerin and Sukesh are the accused in the case.
