In Chilapa, Guerrerotwo members of the Emiliano Zapata Indigenous and Popular Council of Guerrero (Cipog-ez) were shot dead in the community Stone Corral.
In a statement from the indigenous organization, it was reported that the attack occurred at 8:50 a.m., when the victims were riding in a pickup truck.
It was announced that those killed are Maria of Jesus Margarito of the community Buenavista and Alberto Varales from Tepetitlaboth belonging to Chilapa.
A third person hit in the attack is Eleodora Tepeyacwife of one of those killed, who only suffered a bullet graze that does not put her life at risk.
