“A physics teacher assaulted an 11th class student for 20 minutes for wearing tight clothing at a private school in Ganapathy, Coimbatore. The student was admitted to a government hospital with serious injuries and pain. The teacher’s action is reprehensible.
There is no alternative to teachers being strict with students and punishing and correcting mistakes. However, it is inhumane for a teacher to constantly attack two students for more than 20 minutes. This should not be allowed.
The injured student should be given quality medical care. Action should be taken against the teacher who made a mistake. Teachers should be given proper training and advice on how to behave kindly. “
